A Finish!

At last I have finished Sam's quilt, he is always pinching mine so now he has one of his own (no doubt we will be swapping from time to time ...)

I used all scraps for this, it felt so good emptying that scrap box, trouble is, I still have loads left!

Also saw this scarf pattern on Moda Bake Shop... here

My lovely friend in Canada sent me this charm pack for my birthday last year, it's Gypsy Rose by Fig Tree , it's so pretty, and I just love it.

Wow, Sam is one lucky dog! Great quilt, Linda. I even recognize some of those scraps. You are very welcome for the charm pack and I'm sure you are going to look extremely smart wearing your beautiful scarf.

Is Sam already asleep on his new quilt :)
I love it - such nice colors... my dogs enjoy my quilts too! Which is fine until they start scratching on them and then down they go - off our bed!
What a neat way to use up your scraps... I am thinking of doing one of those scraps around the world quilts...

I've had to send Archie out of the room while I read this post! Sam's quilt is gorgeous but why is it that using scraps seems to create more of the things rather than reduce their number?!

Sam's quilt does look great. Well done on using scraps only. And, yes, why is it that you use lots but still end up with a huge pile still left? I am sure they multiply in the dark!!
Love idea to use the charm pack in the scarf. With your cold weather I am sure that will be welcome.
How are all the sewing plans progressing?

Sam's quilt is great. I am sure he'll love it. I bet he won't want to share it with you though.
