Mini Holiday

We have been on a mini holiday. We thoroughly enjoyed it this is Mortagne sur Gironde we were able to park right on the quay side, so pretty.

Don't let that sun fool you, it was freezing!! Pleased to say the central heating was working perfectly!!

All set up for the night, can you see Sam at the window....it's not me he is looking at .....but my new best friends!

He really wanted to play with them but we wouldn't let him LOL.

Sam also has a new name..... Houdini!!

Somehow he got out of his harness in 10 minutes flat, it's the first time he has done it but Lady was always doing it.....maybe she is now letting him in on the secret....... :-)

Hugs Linda xxxx

Archie would love to know the secret of how to get out of the harness...and how to get your owner to take you to live near ducks...

Yeah fellow camper, I didn't comment on your last post but I wanted to tell you I love your new motorhome. My husband was laughing at me because I call it a rig. Do you guys call it that too? Or have you at least heard the expression? At any rate, one thing we do is put a portable heater in the "rig" so that we can use the parks electric (since we are paying for it anyway.) Happy Camping!

I am so pleased you have managed to try out the new van. The place you chose looks lovely, regardless of the cold. Did you enjoy the van? They do take a bit of getting used to but are such good fun.

That is such a pretty spot and your van looks great...poor Sam was probable thinking what spoiled sports you were.

Looks the maiden "voyage" was a great success. Bright freezing days are so much better than grey and freezing aren't they?

You fit right in there look at all the friends you made! Your camper is certainly a beauty. Really looking forward to all your travel adventures. Give Houdini a hug.
In that picture it looks like you have an invisible dog.

Mortagne is one of our favourite places! We both love the coast so if we are having a day out then that is our first stop for coffee. Birdwatching is high on our agenda and we recently found the new footpath leading out to the viewing point over the estuary. Glad you enjoyed it there.

Hi Linda, Thanks for sharing your pictures. I really like your rv or how do you prefer to call it. I think I could learn to drive one that side only I would prefer someone to drive me so that I could look at the scenery. Have a wonderful week. Hugs from your Missouri Friend.
