Heart to Heart Finished

Some of you will know my neighbour Mimi has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  I have at last finished the Heart to Heart quilt for her.

Have just taken it round to her, and of course she cried, and so did I, she called her husband to have a look at it, she was so excited that I had done this for her, it was worth all the hard work, ripping out and frustration just to see her smile.

And, yes, these pictures were taken in my bathroom!! Its the whitest place in the house!!

Hugs Linda xx

Oh Linda, Bless your heart. What a blessing your gift of the beautiful quilt is and will continue to be. Is it just me or does kindness and caring just seem to be an intricate part of quilting. It is there in every quilter I have met both online and in person. See, there is magic in the fabric *wink*. Of course, the hearts of most quilters are what brings out that magic. Thanks so much for sharing with us, I know you made me cry, but they were tears of joy for the kindness and love you have shared. Big Hugs...
Now, I'm off to the hospital for surgery so you won't hear from me for a few weeks. Keep sewing, I want lots to catch up on when I get back in the groove of things.
